One should only go to reputable tattoo/piercing parlors. I know people who have some serious positions and they have tattoos. As long as the tattoo stays hidden under your clothes at all times when at work then I don't see why its anyone else's business. I however cannot date someone with a huge tattoo on his chest or back. That is so unpleasant to look at.
