This deal would only make sense IF Man Utd agree to sell Rooney to Chelsea. Arsenal paid the price for selling Robin van Persie to United last season.

Atletico want him on loan with an option to buy him in the summer, i think this would probably be the best option for Chelsea because they might get Diego Costa in return.

I think if Moyes signs Mata then he will probably have to change the team's formation on the pitch. I honestly think its about time Man Utd dropped the 4-4-2 system of play. The modern game is more on possession based football revolving around ball retention especially when you have good attacking midfielders.
