Had asked this before...
Maybe the man has another woman, mistress or a fish in Eldy. Could even have a child. The wife just found out or knew about this all along. Maybe she thinks they are broke because he has a big appetite for fish.
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Methinks this Elddy dude is actually @Segemia - umeona vile anajua too many tu-details that a person focussing on the bigger picture of a r'ship would not ordinarily remember that clearly (such as the 4,680/= salo, his tv in Eldy, plus he identifies far too closely with the neighbour's actual reactions/ emotions at each of the stages that only someone who has actually passd through this would). Methinks this is the juicy part, that its him asking for advise in a round-about/ back-door manner.
But I agree that once a woman leave her abode, don't go chasing after her - often those leavin want to see if someone 'cares or loves them enough' to follow them.
Well mr that man is not me. First, I know so much about him, not forgetting that we were college mates doing the same course. We have also lived in the same estate for close to 20 years as friends.
Secondly I have known the wife from a long time ago when they were courting during their youth. I also participated in accompanying the man to his wife-to-be home when they started the process of their union.

No body knows for sure because all that I know is what the man has told me.
It will soon become clear when the wife tells her side of the story.

I don't know because I don't live in their house.

There's more than meets the eye here
@segemia , go back to "this" man and ask him man to man what he is not telling you.
You are obligated to go back and help him out kabisa cause you are already in too deep
Simplicity is the utmost sophistication.

I did try that when things started happening, but what I have written here is all that he has told me. I have no reason not to trust him after all we have shared alot in the past.
There is a limit of this conflict to which I cannot go beyond and I would not want to be left there at the centre wondering what hit me when the birds flock together. This might as well be what will give me sleepless nights!!
