Today, am on M-Road pale Greenpark behind a trailer doing 30-40KPH,behind me kuna a trailer tailgating me.I decide to overtake but estimates were not right cuz there's an oncoming 24 wheeler (couldn't tell the speed & didn't want to take my chances)so i decide to return to my lane.Horns blaring, the guy behind decides to close the gap intentionally (could see with my side mirror as he sped up)...wasi wasi nayo?. Pray Pray Pray Quick thinking, i get off the road huko far right, stop to gather my senses say a prayer and make sure i haden't sh*tted on myself and drove to work. GOD IS GREAT!!!

Pole sana...God is great always, I always wonder what's wrong with most of these truck drivers....that Intercont Hotel road joining Uhuru h/way...terrible truck drivers can finish you...Shame on you

Problems can get out of proportion, and not only in the wee small hours. Don't let the problems eclipse the Master. Let the Master eclipse the problems.

I wish the problem was only with failed brakes. Many long distance truck drivers have scant respect for the lives of other road users. Just see how the join major highways from feeder roads. The guy will just drive right in front of oncoming traffic, safe in the knowledge that if you are driving a small car and you hit him, you and your car will very likely die, and he will not even get a scratch!

...very true this happened to me at that uhuru gardens turn off the only way i could escape is going off the road and hitting a tree...the bent gravellia(sp) tree is still there a remembrance whenever i pitia hapo langata road...and those guys never stopped
they rushed to join the bypass to m road.smh

Before thika road became a super highway this happened to me on forest road. I was headed towards pangani this Nissan Ma-3 just did a turn infront of me from the opposite lane. I applied emergency brakes but still scraped it's side kidogo. They guy continued driving as if nothing happened. Rage took control I drove overtook him and slammed brakes infront of him. Got out took the wheel spanner and smashed his drivers side window and started walking back to my car. Then I saw him plus passengers coming after me. "Unataka kutu uwa"? I started jumping up and down waving the Spanner in the air and moving towards them shouting "muna ta ku uwa mtoto wangu huyo ndani ya gari"? They retreated and I got into my car and sped off. There was no kid in the car... But I cant do the same today. I normally just let them be. Hasira will not help me.

How can a 1 or even 3 ton car stop a runaway 40 ton truck. the truck is likely to overturn and so the lorry driver is not as safe as he thinks he is.
Politics is just things to keep the people divided and foolish and put your trust in men and none of them can do nothing for you...
