Two days of tanking and we are back where we began after the split confusion and this was due to heavy supply of upto 500,0000 on a single offer meaning a single investor was exiting. When the demand and supply will reverse this week, it a mad dash upward back to about 50-56.smile smile

@mchambuzi the demand and supply imbalance is what has been shifting the tides of this counter since its split in November 2013 and have been following it since april 2013 and having been the best stock last year, watch it keenly this time too.

They just uploaded the new shares from the split, speculators are busy selling their shares, it will definately hit 30's in the before the end of the week.

Is that 500k or 5M shares?
An investor offloading 5m shares in a 'not so big' company is not a good sign. This investor has the privilege of a clear scope of what's happening inside the company just like the guys who dumped Uchumi did. I would not touch this counter until I get the next audited financial report.

I meant a heavy supply of 500,000 not 5m to be precise it was 505,400 on friday. my apologies.
I say heavy due to the fact that rarely does the demand or supply at any instance go beyond 50k

You think the drop in EABL sales is likely to affect this company's earnings significantly? I am really interested in who is their biggest client though I heard purchases are made about three months earlier.

It does supply to breweries. I am sure they supply to coke not sure about EABL but I believe they do. I am interested in what proportion of their earnings come from breweries so that I can assess any adverse impacts in the industry like the Mututho laws.

And with their current asset well above their current liabilities, it's an opportunity if it deeps further and any one who moves in just when the support price is established, I'll be jealous.
It's one of the stocks Warren buffet would have bought as it meet half of his criterion. No bluff.

is this correct?

had: 33-34m shares , after split and bonus.
now has 254m shares. ie 33x1.5x5=254m share.

profit for period ended 31st July is. PAT 475m.
eps including dilution and split is. kshs 1.865.

pe at 40.00 shs is 21.5!!!
