Anyone out there knows a good optician in town.

How do his/her services/effectiveness compare to his/her cost.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

If you have money that you expect to start using in five years,it now belongs in stocks.
When I have money, I get rid of it quickly, lest it find a way into my heart.

Everyone here seems to be recommending an ophthalmologist. Opticians or Optometrists are specialists in eye aids, spectacles, lenses and contacts. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors, with masters/postgraduate training, and who manage eye diseases, ocular trauma and perform eye surgery. They do not necessarily need to have skills in fitting frames and lenses.

Wherever you go...Do not touch Omega Opticians on Moktar Dadah Street,Opposite Jeevanjee Gardens with a 20foot pole. Bure kabisa! I took to them a frame to transfer my lenses and they ended up distorting my lenses and of course refused to give me new ones and insisted i do with the obviously distorted ones! What Optician in his/her right mind would do that?Risking a clients eyesight and worse still, pretending you know how to transfers lenses na hujui?grrrr!!

Advice is what we ask for when we already know the answer but wish we didn't..
