Boss hizo sio za 8-4-4, huko mtoto is nurtured to excel in whatever they are good at and hakuna eti number one and last....check again!!!!

How can you even try to compare Makini with those other two schools, like seriously ....

Hi Boss, they still want to milk parents through the sms code. Huge margins have to be made before the results are posted in the portal

But Kindly say hi to @wazuans and declare your wealth, sorry, gender. I note you have not posted anything since 2012 when you registered???smile

Maybe year 11 is equivalent to form 3. There are some who become addicts at that age

DO all the children under Makini share the same facilities? If yes, sioni chida, parents should make informed decisions!!!!

By facilities, what do you mean? Teachers?
Are you advocating that all school separate the 'brainys' from the average and administer the same exam? What makes you think the average will get the same attention from the teachers while they are not the moneymakers...

Are they separated or just registered differently? Schools are just giving parantes what they want....a high ranking school!!!!

I have seen choldren learning in Nairobi registered by their parents in shags just to get the quotas for gishagi schools!!!!

So rigging has now gotten into the education sector.

Schools with double registration pamper their thoroughbred high-performers and regard the rest as fees generators. Makini A is for Marketing and recruitment purposes, while Makini B is no different from a public school and serves as an income-generator to scalp parents attracted by the results of a mere 20 candidates.

I thought as a parent your sole responsibility is the performance of your child, which you should be monitoring including asking why they are not part of the brainy class.

Makini are doing what they have to do to make money within the law. If you don't like it, you can take your child to a public school.

That is the hard truth, complaining more than the parents who actually know the truth will not help and looking at the performance the other Makini, it also looks pretty good!!!!

HOW MAKINI BECAME TOP KCPE SCHOOL

During national exams, the Makini Ngong Road academy is always ranked top and usually indicates it registered less than 30 students for the examination. The school, which has eight streams in Class Eight, registers the rest of the candidates under Makini School.

According to the Education ministry website, Makini Ngong Road Academy registered only 22 candidates for the 2011 KCPE. The 22 scored between 439 and 382 marks, while the Makini School registered 256 candidates who scored between 223 marks and 418 marks. During ranking of schools-primary and secondary-only schools with at least 20 candidates are ranked.

LINK

Basically, if your kid is in one of these schools and is an average student, he/she will be registered to take exams in the 'others' category in the same school while the clever ones/genius are registered in the "BLUE CLASS" which will make No. 1 in the county and probably country. The 'others' where your child is registered will rank below 100 and sometime 200.
This is a scam, unfair competition and a marketing gimmic that gives this schools an unfair advantage over others as most parents will enroll their children there paying hefty fees believing their kids are getting above top quality education - just to end up with Ds and Es.
How did the Govt allow this???

yani people are gunduaring this now?
