January transfer window has always been dull especially around this time. Most clubs hold on to their players until the final days of the window. I expect a few big transfers but it will definitely not as big as the summer transfers.

Atletico confident "matured and smart" Diego Costa will make the right decision. It has been confirmed that his release clause is about £31m.....time for Wenger to make a call! Wenger has never bought players who make 'come get me' pleas .He does not play his hand in the open and most of the transfers have a 'surprise' element.e.g Very few people predicted Ozil would be a gunner and all eyes were on De Maria and Benzema.Flamini,Arteta and Mertesacker were also unexpected and escaped the radar of soccer pundits.
Arsenal should actually sign Athletico'scout who found Torres,Falcao and Diego Costa.Maybe he can reveal more gems.

Wenger is looking for a quick fix, it seems Real's Alvaro Morata is our main target. Porto's Jackson Martinez is also being pursued.
