Hi, ama young entrepreneur looking to invest my savings in a lucrative industry. My friend who is in the matatu business suggested his industry but i am looking for a more effecient way to get into it, rather than the "do it yourself" kind of means. I have been researching on some private management companies and also into sacco associations but i am yet to choose which one to join.

Anyone in the field kindly advice on whether i should involve myself with routes operating within nairobi or outside of nairobi??

I want to purchase a nissan matatu and if possible after how long will i get a return of my initial investment??

And should i join a sacco organisation or partner with one of the private entities??

Kindly advise.

Hello mart_mbuvi. Did you ever get an answer? If not, I can share a few of my experiences and insights as far as matatu biz is concerned.
