Thugs read Tweets

This lady becomes aware her close family has just been carjacked in Kitusuru yesterday. She sends out an alarm at 9.32pm via Twitter


She reports exactly one hour later that her brother/fiancee are safe having been dumped at Wangige. They proceed to Kikuyu police station.


And on reuniting with her people past midnight, she reports that her original tweet, which had been shared 380 times in the space of a few minutes, scared the Thugs. They even read it aloud as in the presence of their captives. Oh my!

Wah. Lucky dudes. And what if those tweets lands on mad hijackers and they decide to execute the captives?

@Muganda - Of course thugs can read. They must have read the tweets from their captives'phones as those are among the first things they take from you. Or are you suggesting that they follow the sender of the tweets? In which case it would be very easy to identify them!
