...looking forward to Arsenal V Spurs on Saturday in the FA Cup...is it time to bring Tim Sherwood back to earth? ...and there is one Adebayor...resurgent and will definitely be wanting to be a thorn in the flesh of arsenal's defence.

You must be an Arsenal supporter, crying as per your tradition....

Can you ask Howard Webb to come rescue you from lower mid table?

Shame on you Shame on you

Howard Webb...officiated but forgot his allegiances...could it be that he was aligned to Ferguson rather than the club?

He might not be available on Saturday after being stretched off last night.

Mata...must wake up and smell the coffee...If jose could bench Ashley cole for games on end and yet cole is one of the stalwarts of the first mourinho's chelsea, why wouldnt he haul Mata off when his game was definately below par.

Both mata and shurrle were given their 53 minutes and neither did anything spectacular. That says much about the coach's confidence to start them. It was up to them to up their game and justify their continued starts.

But both were disappointing. At least shurrle...had the civility not to show his disappointment unlike mata. I would really love Mata to show again the difference he can be in the team...unfortunately the differences in chelsea so far have been Hazard, Oscar and Willian. Mata must find a way to dislodge one of them...failing which pray for an injury to one of them.

@Taz...that will be a plus for Arsenal. Soldado is still misfiring and will then probably partner with Defoe

I think you are being too hard on Mata, this season he's been more of a bench warmer than a first team player. There's no doubt that Mata is an exceptional player but i believe his confidence has been affected because he doesn't feature regularly for the team kama akina Oscar, Willian and Hazard. Mourinho's style of play simply doesn't suit Mata, i think he should leave the club ama atakuwa kama Torres.

Mata is on £90,000 a week. Unless he moves to Man City or Man Utd, he'd have to look for a club outside England to earn that much. Being only 25 and with the playing skills that he possesses he really needs to move or he'll rot warming the bench.

BTW, Hazard in only 22 and earns £185,000 a week. Crazy!
Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

When and if Mourinho decides to let creativity free, Mata will flourish. But Jose is more pragmatic...I agree might be a good thing for him to move on.

Dont think he will fit into Mancity's midfield and their style of play. Not in Man-u either. He probably be a good fit in Arsenal's style of play.

It seems to be a very 'difficult' time to be a referee in the EPL...every tight decision made 'wrongly' is instantly followed by very severe castigation for the referee...It was Rodgers last week, this week its Moyes, next week....Wenger?

Reports everywhere on the net linking Berbatov to Arsenal. He has six months left on his Fulham contract so they have to sell this Jan. Its being reported that Arsenal will pay £2 million for him and offer him one year contract with option of a second. I'm sure we'll know more from Wenger tomorrow, he just might dismiss the rumors.

Its being reported that Athletico Madrid are also interested in Mata, i think Chelsea should negotiate a swap deal which would see Diego Costa moving to Stamford Bridge.

SuperMario Balotelli is available for 25M! I wish Wenger could go for him but will need to tame him. The offer should include a steel cage.
His thuggish stares would melt defences.
