What is the general feeling amongst economists? Will the Fed taper or not? By when is it a given they will?

Consensus seems to settle around March 2014 as the date for Fed tapering!

My thoughts;FED cant afford to taper now until the moneymasters have an event/country to blame for the subsequent catastroph. For now they need the QE to keep up the illusion that the economy(Stockmarket) is doing well. But lets wait and see they may have have a differnt ball game altogether

The Fed said if the economy performs as expected, it will “likely reduce the pass of asset purchases in further measured steps at future meetings.” But it stressed that asset purchases are not on a “pre-set course.”

RSI and MACD have been seeing lower lows.

This one might test 31 levels

@hisah I hardly think that Yellen is a newbie.. She has been vice chair of the Fed since 2010 and the chair of the san Francisco Fed before that...

She is likely to carry on the work of her boss smoothly!

As for ICC, there is no dispute that people, me inclusive, were affected by PEV in one way or another. It's been over 5 years so what's new now?

Secondly, the cases must be about proving responsibility and not blatant character assassination which then, will not do anybody justice.

Personally, I don't see any reason why I won't wake up tomorrow and take care of business. What am I/we supposed to do? Stop working and stay home watching TV? BS. This is a Sovereign with structures and thus, Kazi Iendelee!

Furthermore, and legally speaking, these cases could run for more than 5 years just by gaming the system by both sides. Maybe some here can go hungry for that long, me I think I can do only 2 days max so I'll be hard at work... smile

My gut feeling is that the big boys will be on hold in stocks in 2014 and selling like crazy in 2015.

don't sell your good stocks.

I'm glad to see some of the stocks I sold due to fundamentals closing the year lower. kengen, kplc. avoid gava stocks like a plague for long terms.

hfck has caught up with equity as I had predicted. KCB share price target for next 12 months. I've been on a roll this year with decisions and predictions, based on fundamentals. someone had to say it.

happy hunting in 2014
