No. We are all (other than yourself and co.) just tired of long obfuscated posts. In this thread, you can have the freedom of being all that you can be.

@Tycho et al, 99% of the time, I don't understand what you post.

Set out to correct the world's wrongs and you will most certainly wind up adding to them.

Interesting! I thought all conversation is 'symbolic interactionism' and that if there's anything to be spoken about then it's the symbol and the meaning given to it. And that they have everything to do with the threads that @AlphDoti has given. Then of course, @tycho has been engaged in those threads; so does that mean then he shouldn't participate in them?

Or that a quarantine is required?

One wonders if there's ever a compulsion on one to respond to a post, or one must always be pleased or entertained by a post.

But you can bet by now, I understand how normal threads of Mcreggae's tastes look like; they are the ones that also interest me less, hence which I participate the least. So what is he talking about?

Or what 'fairness' is AlphDoti talking about? It's the same thing that @urstill asked about. AlphDoti would rather put away what's 'unpleasant' for his convinience. He can even choose to ignore a question when it's only reasonable for him to answer.

Now he wants to play the same tactic on threads because he was protected yesterday. Or did he 'hijack' another thread for answering all unanswered questions from the past?

This unfair request by AlphDoti, Mcreggae and others can only be driven by ill will and hypocrisy and motives that only make this forum a nest of the mass man.

Conversation is conversation; it is only in your eyes (probably in @Muriel's and @Symbols' too ) that it also necessarily needs to be 'symbolic interactionism' as well. There is nothing wrong with that, but I have no need for that advanced definition. Please also note that I am not saying you should be muzzled for it.
I think what @AlphaDoti's request to the admin is to start a section,..probably name it Philosophy, for these freely flowing, avant garde ideas because not only are they often incomprehensible to many citizens, they wander outside contexts of many threads.
You once asked if your manner of speech is sometimes unnecessarily ponderous. The short straight answer is yes.

1. How's it bad, or wrong, or unneeded if you failed to understand 99% of the time? Is this why students are turning to arson?

2. Doesn't that make you 99% 'ununderstandable' to me?

3. Is it the case that you can in fact answer for 'all'? I doubt whether you can! Or even should!

Seriously @jguru! You just say this whole thing is primitive energy at work. That, I can understand.

I hope this is 'the 1% you understand from me'.

Conversation is about words among other things, and words are symbols.

Symbols can only be used unnecessarily if no meaning is conveyed. But what if there's a meaning? Whose responsibility is it to find it? But no, 'the ordinary citizen' seeks not to probe. Yet he is the center of learning! Hahahaha!

There are other instances of posts that wander outside the context of many threads from AlphDoti and from you, in the pictures thread, for example, where only funny pictures are supposed, as I imagine, to be posted.

Now I went there looking for laughs but instead got a lengthy discourse on religious dress, that I doubt anyone, apart from you, Quicksand, ever read because you had a response to it. I did not read it.

Shouldn't you, an ordinary citizen, cite this particular incident as another example in your request for the admin to start a section? You should! Probe more of these examples and cite them!

The more the evidence, the more overwhelming becomes the petition and it just might be granted.

You never know.

Whenever I see the advertisement, my mind immediately conjures "The Symbolist(s)".

The golf players tip toe off and jump onto the golf cart and drive away as you are putting.

The three "colleagues?" at the photocopier will not accept your tissue yet they need it.

The dancers will not allow you to dance near them. I love the way the ladies twirl their dresses.

You smell.

That is what Citizens of Virtual Republic are saying.

Would you like to take a vote on this?

Ponder that if you will.
