Any airport or airstrip can accommodate any Jumbo jet of any size, what matters is the skill and maneuverability.

Both the implied and expressed meaning of jumbo jet, airport and airstrip

The only challenge of landing a Jumbo jet on a small and tighter airstrip is when you are doing a a back-course approach; this is because the ILS is not fully available for use.smile

For safe and memorable landing you have to approach it from the front, where all the beacons are clearly visible.

This plane was initially in Ethiopian's livery but was stripped of color at the end lease period in readiness for return...when they lost the 787 at LHR recently they went back for the "almost" returned a/c and negotiated a short term lease, 18 months...be informed!

Eti they had put mafuta ya 200bob and that's why it couldn't be diverted to jkia or Dar since it didn't have enough fuel.
