How should a doctor be paid? Doctors should be able to pay themselves as much as they wish, and still reduce costs to the economy. Our problem is how we understand 'health' and promote it.

In the last garment in any strike the minister would be blamed here in wazua especially if from ODM......this now never happens...SMH Uhuru tells the medics to think of us sick people and get back to work, and then adds that the devolution of health services will proceed as planned. He urges governors to "make alternative arrangements"- ie find other medics - if our doctors refuse to go back to work......... The goverment MUST seriuosly sit down and address this issue!!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Medics should just go back to work. Central govt is afraid of backlash from opposition, waithereros of civil society and the governors should they intervene. And the magavana want all powers and responsibilities now. While the medics want us to believe they are not against devolution of health services, they're giving it away with some of their arguments about hiring. Our health sector is ailing, the medics are not making it better by withdrawing services leading to deaths!
