There's a ton of stuff on youtube, you can start with 'the truth may scare you' series. As for Rain man, Rihanna's umbrella is the one that has the most symbolism like a black umbrella is the symbol used to show that the certain artist is under Satan's protection from the "rain" Watch that video, you will see the black umbrella all over it and then think about how many other videos have the artist standing under an umbrella. There's a ton, Fat Joe make it rain, Beyoncé get me bodied, Lil Wayne, Diddy, its just that unless you know there's symbolism, you'll just assume its creativity.

might be the other way round - it's just that unless you know its creativity, you'll just assume there's symbolism.

if you search hard enough for the symbols you will see them everywhere, unless satan talks to you after you listen to the songs - just enjoy the music.

I used to think like that till I did research and found all these artists do the same things like they all cover one eye, all have lots of symbolism in their videos which points to them being puppets who do as they are told. Watch Game's wouldn't get far, you'll understand that whatever you see on videos is decided for the artists, I don't know why its so hard for people to understand this. When something is done over and over, by different artists, its ceases to be coincidence. Anyways its your life, your choice, I choose not to listen to mainstream music anymore, I'd rather be safe than sorry. If you think this link is coincidence, more power to you

I don't listen to it so much, but I have been learning something about hip hop culture. I haven't had a conversation about it though.

First, let us start by categorizing this genre into 2 fragments: the Mainstream (the all-glorifying, highly washed up side of this kind of music) and the underground (the conscious-oriented subject-pointed side)..

Hiphop as a culture has always been about 4 things: MCeeing, breakdancing, Djeeing (scratching) & graffiti..

Hip, hop, history goes,
Leaving the 'whimps' in a daze
But when I spit on my mic, the gory dark lections of I, twirl and whirl, chasing I of the tribe of 'dah.
Old folks with sagging skins rising a demons, white claws stalking like shadows in the deep prison valley of 'bra. Kibira kiberiti kazi yako kujiwasha. Say yo!

Hip, hop, yo,
Tribe of the 'dah, going dah dah dah dah
Hip, hop, yo! Go dah dah dah dah!
Skip up yo, dah dah dah dah dah dah dah!

Yo, queens n kings rolling in shit and coprophobic frenzy living paradox wailing, trying to imitate the ants in the good books. Pseudo revolution in a pleasant mask frolicking in the 'chuoms' and riding in a benz, beckoning to the whimps with the middle finger. Yo, whimp dies chasing Mr. Jones, impaled by the finger, trying out to figure lyrics rolling from a sword.

Yo!

Those are not Hiphop artists. Crank/pop music is not Hiphop. Otherwse there are alot of conspiracy theories revolving around any&every popular art/person/culture et al.
Listen to good music n just enjoy. Simple.

I don't have time to look for specific hip hop artists, believe me its out there. Unless you're saying JayZ is not hip hop, coz he's neck deep into that stuff with Kanye. Like I said, Nas is the only one not into that stuff at the moment.
