Laggards kk, kq, nbk & kplc are floating as expected. MSC somehow is still above 3/- but the sugar industry is as disordered as it gets at the moment.
@aguy - tps is worth a shot for recovery, but illiquid counter. Less riskier than kq for those without hearts of steel to board the kq mbus...
The next solid bull boost is the eurobond float. If it happens when NSE20 is above 5500, I'd expect 6000 and the all time high level @6161 to be tested... By then a lot of crappy stocks will be floating high. The idea is to avoid that crappy corner in case of a shakeout event... Just like 5000, at 6k level the selling pressure will be solid resisting bulls for a while... Hisah, shouldnt we expect more dip on the blue chips as we near Fed Meeting on 17th Dec ? Guess we should see stocks dipping next week just like it was before june 21st.foreigners have been selling blue chips “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.”

the deal wrote:Do you smell em bargains coming? :) Picked this from my thoughts! I smell alot of weakness; safaricom (see how supply at 10.40 is increasing while demand at 10.35 is constant, even the huge bid at 10.25 was cancelled ),Equity has lost support at 33,KCB struggling to stay above 45,EABL too struggling to stay above 300. NEXT WEEK WILL BE VERY EXCITING. “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.”

Expanding bolinger bands on Equity bank. And for the third day it closes below the lower bolinger band with stretch down low (low of 32.75) RSI and MACD have been seeing lower lows. This one might test 31 levels http://markets.ft.com/re...eets/Summary?s=EQTY:NAI

The Rule of Thumb in a Bull Market and the Securities Exchange has been in a Bull Trend since May 2012, is that corrections should not be deeper than 10%. The Nairobi All share could not snap a 6 Consecutive Session losing Sequence and eased 0.877% to close at 136.70. The Nairobi All Share is +44.107% in 2013 and has corrected 4.124% off a record set 7 sessions ago. The Nairobi NSE20 fell 28.67 points and closed below the 5,000 level for the first time since November 6th. Equity Turnover was 441.833m and substantially lower than the preceding session which totalled 690.935m. There were 10 Winners and 26 Losers at the Exchange. The Equity Market has been in a soft patch for 6 Trading Sessions. Market conditions are thinner as we have approach the Festive Season and that might have accentuated some of the Moves seen this week. Rich. Agreed
