And what has Ohana done? Numbers dont lie. We already have KK Half Year results. On KQ, chaps are speculating the Half Year results based on management word. KQ is acquiring assets using debt. Both are valid plans but a lot depends on variables that are not easy to control. The risk is much higher for KQ which has to expand its footprint, staff levels, etc to ensure the planes are used as much as possible in an environment where tourism can drop due to financial problems/unemployment, high fuel prices, yo-yo currencies, instability common in many African countries, etc At this stage, I will go for KK. The risk is the same for KK, with the high prices of fuel, more and more drivers are opting to leave their cars at home and hike a train or bus or drive less altogether. Players offering cheaper products too are increasing. Note KQ doesn't fly to Africa alone...its aim is to fly wherever there are passengers(ofcourse by IATA rules). The expansion (growth) of KK seem to be limited, Zimbabwe proved one hard nut to crack. Anyway, the market is open, time will prove any of us wrong. Am of the sch of thought that once you start selling assets to sustain your cash flow, you're in bad shape. But, i dont expect Ohana to tell you that. @Mweke i've peeped at the books and cant see anything standing out apart from no loss from hedging. Sales went down. The ratio of receivables iko juu. And how is KQ managing its debt wrongly? "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

KK as a snake is weak after eating, it needs time to digest where it was weak and will wake up very strong and will all the energy asa hunting snake. The stock will rise to 11 come January after which it will see another high of 14-16 by its FY where we should expect atleast 50cents dividend pay with promises that it has solved most of its problems and it is on run mode again. In Aug 2014 or there about it may source and announce a partner as a share holder who would grow shares from my be 30% through local buying till he gains 51%. From here the said partner may call the shots intending to buy majority. I am not dying soon!
