@leona,

spot on.

Very agonizing to go through such CV/ Letters from 'graduates'. We recently shortlisted 4/160 applicants - just from the application letters and CVs only.

There is particularly a certain Uni whose 'graduates' need some form 2 re-orientation in basic official communications.

@techboy,
try changing your approach,from 'looking for a job' to 'why you should hire me' - what do you offer in exchange for salo?

@simonkabz

wait till 'Quality of staff' becomes your KPI in an OTE environment. You will be singing attention to detail all the way to bed...

i had to respond to this post because am sure the guy is feeling overwhelmed by all the response.Kusadikika put it right and i dont think i can say it any better.you have the right attitude in that you came out and asked for a position/job/help.it is great that you are looking and that is normally the first you do to getting what you want;taking action.He also told you that this is the real world and you will hear all kinds of criticisms which you should learn/listen from and correct where necessary.my advise to you would be not to fear taking chances to start a business if that is what you are really interested in.take a shot,u never know.all the best and keep ur head high.

@ Leona

U r spot on........i posted the first reply to this techboy's thread and my main complain was on the confusion on whether he/she is looking for a job or an attachment....................Am surprised he/she never took note and went ahead to repeat the same mistakes.

@ Techboy

Please read all these posts carefully...................much as some of them may not be so palatable,as some are posted in jest,they could have subtle advice nonetheless. Good luck as u job-hunt but make sure u print what Leona has posted and walk her post.
