Where to invest around 10M

Hello Wazuans,
A friend expects to come into some 10M some time next year and he requires to invest it somewhere with at least returns of about 200k per month for sustenance. What are some of the options available to invest such an amount and gain those returns?

I suggest you give half to your church and the rest invest in community development projects like water supply!

To get an income of 200K from 10M ( over 20% )may be a challenge using traditional ways of investing, why I say so many including real estate will not give you this kind of return.., however all is not lost as I believe the market has all the opportunities. One only needs to look hard enough and take the risks that he can live with

Buy a nice commercial 50x100 plot in a place where rents for two bedroom go for 20k. Place like kiambu,kasarani and kiamumbi. You can get something good for about 4m. With 6m left you can manage to put about six two bedroomed flats which translate to 120k a month. With that income you can add another floor to make the flats eight and total income to be 160k. Start planning your retirement and don't forget to pay me for the free services. Before I finish, I have a nice commercial plot for sale for 1.2m in utawala near tarmaid.
