@cnn. after crediting of the bonus shares occurs and they begin to trade, the share should trade lower than where it was before the bonus issue. (more shares under the same EPS- rationally of course) As you rightly calculated above.
But i see you are talking about the period just before cum bonus.
Today the signs of going to 167 there abouts are there with very little demand at +200 price.

BOC is trading at a P/E of about 11.5, so if you factor a P/E of 12 for Carbacid and an EPS of 13.99, thats a price of Ksh 168...... Add the Ksh 3.00 final dividend and i would place a fair value of Ksh 171 for Carbacid pre book closure (come dividend and come split).

Post split and ex dividend, Ksh (168 x 2/3)/5 = Ksh 22.40 is my projected fair value.

For BOC at the moment the problem of liquidity
stirs on our face.
You can queue up for weeks without supply.
May be they have to go Cabacid way....split & bonus otherwise best of luck @chief Guru

CARBACID POST SPLIT, BONUS AND DIVIDEND

The stock is on the rise again. Who is living a lie to capture as much as possible? It will be better for the longhaul again 2-3 yrs when another bonus and good dividend will be expected. The share has moved from 38 to 47 Kes as everyone is trying to get a bite to this exclusive stock. Will the bull still tramp more than that. Hope the share will come back home by mid December when more investors start harvesting for Xmas and fees for nex year.But a swing will be seen between 36 and 43 upto April next year. For long haul investors happy hunting!
