I thought I was the only one seeing that from the beginning hence commenting would be totally useless..  What I like about some wazuans here is that they are smart enough to see through the "fog" (they have fog lights). Religion is indeed one big pissing contest. And I just love the fact that GOD(Hate or like Him,He still cares)isn't religious. Will say it again,Religion is man's way of trying to reach God,it's no wonder people argue day in/out because they are correct in their own way.It's like you coming to my house and dictating how I should cook yet I know my recipes. Salvation however is God's way of reaching out to man.Do your thing,God will meet you somewhere. nite.

The statement that religion is a pissing contest isn't true.
But I'd grant that some religionists, and atheists engage in 'pissing contests' as shown in this thread.

Murchr sorry for that verbal diarrhea you received hapo juu, the way I had high regards for CITAM but if this is a sample of what their leadership is like, then maybe I should try Wakorino..LOL
Hamburglar, I do question a lot of things, but I don't think I want to overdo it and become an Atheist. I believe there is a God, its just that human beings have used his existence for their own selfish pursuits thus tainting Him. If anything you should rethink your stand, most of what you judge God by is the work of man. Your favorite verses of God destroying people in rims of fire is actually written by men in their wild imaginations. The only books that were written expressly from God were the first 5 books of the old testament, the rest were written by human beings.

I doubt whether the religionist competitions are about appealing to and satisfying their 'gods'. Not unless 'gods' is equal to 'egos'. Most of us have refused to grow psychologically and are bound in regression that breaks all our institutions and relationships. The religious wars that we see without are mere spillovers of the strife within our hearts and minds projected outwards. The truth of religions isn't in the Scriptures but in the development of our psyches.
