[The counter-cyclical play hence favors insurance stocks with large treasury holdings for capital/fair-value gains.]

Would probably HOLD/ACCUMULATE most banks.

@Boris as a general rule I do not give direct one-on-one advise.. investing in stocks is very personal and involves many metrics, key among them risk appetite.. If this helps, my current portfolio is COOP, KQ & Bank of Kigali
