He had to wait for an ambulance to come all the way from Nairobi to pick him up and take him to Aga Khan hospital.
The police are just wasting their time and creating unnecessary anxiety by doing their investigations. Many people have died in similar circumstances in this town and it is about time some public or private investor put up a serious medical facility.
It is a big joke to hear that Mt. Kenya University is starting a medical school in Thika!
The next time you go to Thika, pray that you don't fall sick! Superhighway or no superhighway, you will die before you get to the nearest serious hospital!
You've reminded me of 'WAHOME MUTAHI', He of the famous 'Whispers'.Died in Thika, while awaiting proper medical care?

lets wait at least 2 weeks before we start condeming the dead. Right now he doesn't care about what you say or think. But the family does. That's why we have a mourning period. Its for the family and those that loved him. After they have gotten used to the fact, then lets remove the daggers. After all, we are panafricanist. Jose: If I make it through this thug life, I'll see you one day. The Lord is the only way to stop the hurt.

Wahome was operated on and at that time there was no oxygen facility in the theatre at Thika District Hospital. So when he started gasping for breath, they could only watch him go to his maker. We clearly are a banana state. Lord, thank you!
