•I&M Bank is seeking to raise Sh10 billion by selling a corporate bond

•The listed bank has got approval from the industry regulator, the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), to raise part of the amount in the first tranche of the offer

•I&M Bank, similar to Housing Finance, is raising additional funds for expansion through the issue of a bond

Offer open from today for the next 2 weeks. ... A private placement and participation is by invitation. ... Dont understand why they've decided to make it so yet it'll be listed at NSE

@mwekezaji - I read the notice in the paper. It did not indicate a "Private Placement" not "By Invitation" ... if so it also means they probably have it all sold!

@VVS, think of it, the information memorandum and pricing supplement is out but is made available to the few. I agree, this issue could already have recieved full subscription or a lot of support from a given people
