Couldn't agree more. Both companies are doing their best to stay ahead of the pack

Yes, great progress it is. It has been on for a while now. My take is that this one will last.

I was ecstatic when I first saw the Equity advert but have had to temper my initial enthusiasm.

One catch is that the money goes through First National Bank of SA (FNB) so it takes much longer to reach your account. Also remember in South Africa they have strict foreign exchange controls, so you get pay higher charges for the transaction than you normally should.

This also raises queries as to who will actually be responsible in case funds are lost. We know that there's plenty of fraud that goes on in Kenyan banks.

I am also not sure what the maximum withdrawal limit is, so someone who knows can inform me.

After burning my fingers on NationHela, I'm still hesitant to jump into this Equity ship. The day Paypal themselves announce a deal with a Kenyan bank is the day I will know we have arrived.

Please keep your eyes wide open as you carry out your transactions. Overall though, this service appears to be an improvement on what we have in Kenya right now.

@The Clown I agree with you, totally.

Until PayPal announces a deal with Kenya/Kenyan bank we are staring at another NationHela. Pole you burnt fingers with NationHell - I almost did.

If you can't get a withdraw method from your PayPal account, just keep off this Equity maneno

I'm okay with using PayPal funds to register/renew clients' domains, hosting packages and buying club templates as a way of withdrawing from PayPal. Am yet to try creating jobs and awarding myself the same at Freelancer.com.

Hii maneno ya Equity si yakuaminika. Until they show us an agreement with PayPal or some proof that they have an arrangement with PayPal and not with third-parties, better safe than sorry

This is some good news. I can just imagine policies that have been put in place. Waiting to see the fees and rates that will be implemented.

@The Clown and @Coolbull

This one seems like it will last. Yes, Equity does not have a deal with PayPal but PayPal has been working with FNB for the longest time.

5 months down the line, this method still works. The only challenge is that sometimes it takes more than the prescribed 8 days to get the cash. It can get to even a maximum of 11 days.

Is it cheaper than using my payoneer debit card?

I always look at Akowally's posts and wonder what bullshit he can't sell.

Internet marketing does not mean you sell lies and fake products.

Internet marketing does not mean that you lie so that you can pretend how sharp you are.

This is a serious profession that serious organisations take seriously.

Lying to Kenyans that they can withdraw from Equity is just as good as that other one he was selling here before.

I will say this again.

If you love your money, there is only one true way of knowing if you can withdraw from paypal

Login to your Paypal account. Hit the button that says withdraw. If Equity is there, then you're good to go.

If it isn't, it doesn't matter what company is backing it. Enron was bigger than Equity and Nation Hela will ever be. Murdock ran a ponzi scheme for 30 yrs.

Until you see that withdraw button and it says Equity Bank, keep away.

Even if snakes oil salesmen who issue statements like "I'm only informing" talk to you, hold your money and stay safe.

I thought the equity service applies to paypal merchants only

I will tell you again very nicely.

The only way to withdraw your money from Paypal is to use a US Bank account. That service is only provided by Payoneer.

I'm praying for the day when I see a withdraw button that says, "withdraw from equity".

Until then don't fall into akowally's snake skin salesman pitch. He pushes a product then comes later to say that instead of taking 8 days it takes more than those day...sob sob sob.

Who cares if the CEO of Eqety said so. Kweli he's Mukiri's or AlphDoti's convert?

Last time I said NationHela was a fake.

Mind your 1 bob and you will do well online. Follow these make 1 million shillings online crap and we shall meet again on another thread.
