CAVEAT: A true friend of mine. This guy was using chopstick made of cypress tree to press down that pin on the GROUND hole in the wall mounted socket so that he could insert his plug to charge his phone, but almost on all occasions the stick bent or broke.
Previously he used chopstick made from pine tree and it opened the hole very well. But now the chopstick being sold in markets are all made of cypress tree.
Is there a way he can hardened the cypress chopstick so that they attain the strength of those made from pine tree? May be like dipping them into some special saline solution or heat-treating them? But how?
