The Recce guys are equiv. to the U.S. SWAT.
So me-asks: do we really need such highly trained presidential-protection level guys to be called every now and then (it is becoming a trend) in to finish one of 2 riff raffs mtaani like happened in Buru and now Lavi? Their role requires they be called in only for very highly specialized Ops ala Westgate - but we are wasting them on such tu-things. Clearly KP is failing badly - we should just disband them. What would have been so hard about lobbying tear-gas or concussion grenades where the gunman was in Lavi to smoke him out?
Btw, shhh...part of conspiracy-loving me thinks the cops could actually have had this thing wrapped up all nicely (rem. the househelp had locked in the gunman and gone to call the cops, so where was the danger?) but that this presented an opportunity to prove, in the public eye and so soon after Westgate, the invisibility of Recce....
