Real estate now 30% of total assets, COOP bank being recognized for their contribution, assets under management outside Kenya now 22%

Centum Group says Pre Tax Profit for the half-year to Sept climbs to 1.03bn from 836m the previous period. Is that like 23%?

Sunil Sanger asks a change in dividend policy in the works?

Chris Kirubi takes the microphone and says he's followed price from 3/= and young management has taken Centum to new frontiers. He says Centum needs a long term view.

CEO says contention will remain whether they have an agenda that can drive NAV and board will meet in Dec/Jan to determine dividend policy for next 5 years.

In short, I infer no change in zero dividend policy in the near future

Good performance. Company going big in real estate which is in bullish state making one hesitate to call the share price overvalued.

Centum secures Sh14bn real estate pledges

•Centum is planning to convert the project into an investment vehicle that will allow the company to pool investor funds, develop the Runda property and eventually sell it on completion.

•Centum says it is in the process of converting Two Rivers into a Development Real Estate Investment Trust (D-REIT).

•Analysts said that the company’s share, currently trading at Sh30 each, an annual high, is supported by investors who expect that the project will pay off in future.
