Another 69,300 shares moving today with counter closing at 69. that brings it to a total of approx 225k shares moved in 2 days which i can confidently state is what this company moves in a quarter.....something is definitely cooking.

Also 21% net foreign buy,its been a while since i saw any net foreign entry into this counter...

a massive 155,100 shares have moved today.....seems the seller who was offloading 147,000 shares last week at 70 bob finally found a buyer.....or can we speculate Sanlam is taking over? Interesting counter indeed....
@magnate i was worried about that huge supply chunk but it seems its almost out of the way;expect a race towards 100 bob soon

am firmly on this one

This couter has been consistent in the last 2 years, I see it approaching 100 in 2014, factoring in excellent net income growth and Sanlam of s/a connection.

It moved approximately 22k shares today at a steady 69.50;there is a big seller exiting and from what has moved so far during the week; i can postulate approx 300k shares have/are being offloaded at a mean of 70 bob with almost 250k shares being snapped up thus far

Once the remaining 50k shares or thereabout are out of the way, expect price to launch into space

We are firmly in the 70s with a high of 73 today; still a lot of head room for this stock considering its low float and expected capital gains on the back of good results.

For a long time the market was luke warm on this stock but things are looking up especially if you consider this company made 800Mil H1 2013 profits and KQ made 535Mil H1 2013 ....

To all the patient ones our time to reap is coming soon,to the Wanjikus its time to 'dandia' the bus as its leaving....

There is still serious head room on this share. Been a good wait.

That fair value is very wonky and based on gut estimates than the underlying book in the business. Look at pan africa's Embedded value and you will realize that the price is exegerated and highly unlikely a takeover would happen at such elevated Embedded Value multiples. At 75 the counter is trading at an approx EV multiple of 1.7 suggesting at least 50% premium to fair value.

started at 36 .chewed a sweet dividend of 3 bob per share.sold at 60.only 2 realise the mistake.got in back again at 62,66,69 .this thing wil b driven by sentiments and promising dividend prospects rather than value.the march continues

Speculation cannot be fought. We can't sell short. And until Sanlam gets its 60% (or is it 75%) there is little one can do. Once it has what it wants, the price will probably stagnate. I would rather buy Britam for the long-haul.
