Of course it is frozen. The Wazua Admin only allows stuff like "alcohol", "landing", "pine", "socket", "plug" stories only.

According to admin, people who are interested in phombe are the ones who have money. They are the only ones who see the adverts.

Admin, please learn from history. Yeah same mistake banks did when they ignored some section of the market until Equity came into the play and now many banks come begging, setting tents everywhere even at the Estates.

Look around and see. Islamic banking cannot be ignored for long as well. All banks are now developing products attractive to Muslims. Even SACCOs.

Admin, look at the demographics.

Probably @Lady Admin is an Atheist.

Maybe @admin is conducting a secret poll to find out if a majority of Wazuans want the religious threads out.

But still, I don't see these threads keeping their relevance in the twenty first century. At least not the kind we've had so far.

Maybe we should take cue and transform our conversations.

Well

It means admin has failled to "see" the true picture. The fact that one or two or three have thrown in some controvercial opinions in the thread should not restrick sharing, no?

What happened to deletion of offending posts and penalties to offenders?

why would the admin ban that thread? What was controversial there? Wasn't it a 'This is what I took home from the service today' thread? Or did @alphdoti take Christian- Muslim fight there?

I think spiritual food can be shared on any thread. And it doesn't have to be a sermon.

I suspect the thread on Sunday sermons has been frozen because the thread on Friday being siku ya mosque turned out to be something about bashing Islam and @AlphDoti, and it seems that admin was keen on striking some balance. Remember the latter thread's title had been changed by admin. If my suspicion is correct, then I don't think admin has done any wrong.

I think our general approach to matters of Spirituality is somewhat 'primitive' in the sense that we hardly contemplate 'nourishing' or being 'nourished' by people of other faiths, yet we live in a world that demands that we should bring down all barriers to mutualism and peaceful coexistence.

Our conversations should ennoble us; and to spur this @admin must keep up her good work.

Why do Admin just make some funny decisions without communicating the reasons clearly? What wud prevent the same 'mistake' being repeated? Comm Skills 101 demands effective communication in a intellectual environment like Wazua IMO.

I commend the Wazua admin for the decision made. @Tycho has captured my sentiments clearly and more articulately. Those who feel they are over zealous about their religion and feel that they should participate in the "my religion is better than yours" contest then they should open their own forum and run it

I went thru the Koran/Friday siku ya mskiti thread and if that one was closed then its only fair if the Sunday thread faced the same wrath
