But it's the FOCUS. When Wangare Maathai was planting trees, she wasn't thinking about the possibility of getting Sh100m from a Nobel Prize. All she wanted was to protect the environment so that future generations can't live a better life.

Then some one notice her EFFORT and what she had ACHIEVED and decided that she needs RECOGNITION.

She has had a wonderful season the highlight being defeating dibaba and defar in a race where she was hardly mentioned The organisers of the event were shocked as they had sold the event as a battle between defar and dibaba.As for GOAT mary keitany still ranks up there 3rd fastest in the marathon ,half marathon world record holder among other accolades . A meeting of the two next year will be very interesting keitany has a smooth running style while jeptoo knocked knees hope it will be in london where both have won.
