It depends... if u have 1 kid in a 2 or 3 bedroom house... then the kid can move... lakini what if u have 2 room & 5 kids (typical kenyan over-breeding?)

as soon as the parents find it fit for them to move out.. and that will be guided by the development of the kids.. you cannot just move them bcoz they've reached this or that age.. some demand special needs..

If you're talking about normal kid,that does not require any special attention,you should move him/her to their own bedroom as soon as they come of age. My take is 1 year.

You see,many parents think kids are so dumb and don't see/know these things. Haven't you seen kids age two or three years pay attention to each other?

You would think they're asleep,but they're watching and hearing. There was story of a girl telling her Sunday school teacher that mum was shouting to GOD that she was 'going' (to heaven) but daddy tried his best and held her down. Or a boy asking daddy to stop hurting mum. So be responsible.

@AlphaDoti,I can bet you don't have a kid. A 1yr old still needs attention and watching over at night.

What if unafukuza and they keep on knocking your door way past midnight with claims that there is a monster in their room? I think 8 months is way too early. Maybe after the second birhday.
