Now wait for press conferences, tough TV talks, transport "Experts" on live shows, radio stations live call-ins condeming the act, etc etc...then slowly after 2 days, back to hell.

Me thinks its the 'Im-not-my-brothers-keeper' mentality that makes us forget so easily. If it doesn't affect me personally, then I'm less interested.

My thoughts, from a Christian viewpoint:

God is unhappy with this nation's greed and corruption. He is about to carry out His judgement. These are just the warning signs.

Repent and turn back to God.

Yes for a reckless country like Kenya I think the railway authorities should put barriers on all the intersections they can just like the roads authorities need to put up bumps on superhighways. Still it was the driver's fault that he was on the path as the train was coming.

Sonko on Citizen,he doesnt blame the driver...He blames the contractor who built that road and Rift Valley railways for not putting barriers...surely....

The bit about barriers is true ....

I think the Contractor too, or whoever Maintains roads.

Have used the road a few times and As I said, there is a half foot pot hole at the middle of intersection and you actually have to accelerate to pass.

Sad we have lost Innocent lives unnecessarily again.
