God knows how many victims have fallen prey because it seems as if he has been eating not just sheep but lambs.

UK-based Kenyan televangelist Gilbert Deya has been charged in a London court with a string of sex related offences.

The preacher was charged with three counts of rape and one count of attempted rape against a woman.

He was further charged with an additional count of sexual assault by indecently touching a 14-year old girl.

Nkt. Wolves in sheep's clothings and you ask why I shouldn't dread some pastors more than snakes.

Do you believe there will be a judgement day?

I told you guys!!! Out of 70 billion people only 144,000 will reach heaven and you thought I was joking!!!

Just what % is that? My Calc wont give me a figure.

That 70 billion, is it inclusive of everybody who has ever lived, or is it for the population of the living in the near future? If the latter that might be in....7070

@pedes, from the latest worldometer 106 billion are estimated to have been born and lived since the dawn of human species from 50,000BC. As of today roughly 6% of of the world population that have ever lived on earth is alive!!Sad Sad

With an average annual world population growth of 1.14% and bearing in mind that the current world population is 7 Billion, then at about 2220 AD (in 200 years) the world population will hit 70 billion...

Checking at the Book of Revelation in the Bible the figure 7 is normally catastrophic...

Think Think Think ...so you are saying 7 is catastrophic in Revelation, and 7 is said to be completion (a good thing) in Genesis. So what is it?

Let us see...

in Revelation we come across the digit seven in:

1. Seven churches

2. Seven spirits

3. Seven golden candlesticks

4. Seven stars

5. Seven lamps

6. Seven seals

7. Seven horns

8. Seven eyes

9. Seven angels

10.Seven trumpets

11.Seven thunders

12.Seven thousand slain in a great earthquake

13.Seven heads

14.Seven crowns

15.Seven last plagues

16.Seven golden vials

17.Seven mountains

18.Seven kings.

So let us say after the seven, to go to eight something bad happens...

For example when God was resting on the seventh day after creation, the man/woman who God created were busy messing things up...

And what's this bad thing that happens after seven days of the week?

Hangover? Monday Blues? Minoga after a weekend of mastyro? smilesmile

...better put after 7 days, 7 months, 7 years, 70years, 700 years, 7000 years....

let us start from here... Revelation 16 which is all about the Pouring Out the Seven Disasters by the Seven Angles...

So 7 seems to feature a lot in there. After 7 comes 8. What's the significance of 8 then? We can then figure out whats up with 7.01 to 7.99. Does 8 represent new beginnings? I think after dusk comes dawn. No?

The devil delights in such stories and fans such fires.

I wonder.. who delight more when evil is exposed ? God or the Devil ?

Mukiri wrote:

Its indeed unfortunate when the shepherd turns to be the wolf. And such stories are vast. Fathers who turn onto their daughters(Si you'll hate all fathers?=Single parent?) Bosses who incriminate employees (Hate all bosses?) Leaders who end up fleecing the coffers they should be protecting (Kenya is rife with corruption, si you'll hate everybody?)

Such have never been shepherds and the 'sheep' have never been sheep. A congregation comprised of self seeking 'pastors' and self seeking flock will obviously get what is coming to them.
Si kwa helicopter bado kumejaa ?

No one has advocated for hating 'all pastors'.

Mukiri wrote:

It is said that in the last days, false prophets will appear. Ask for help from God to discern who is right and who is fake... moreover, seek God Himself on your own behalf.

A tree is known by its fruit.
God has given us a brain which is capable of discerning that oranges are not the fruit of mango trees. No need to ask God for another brain.

Mukiri wrote:

I know the mchungaji's son munched a housegirl and maybe a baby was left unattended, but that is no reason to spread hate to all the men of cloth. For if you choose to illuminate on the bad, likewise be fair and illuminate the good ones.

Men of cloth should conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the calling they have received as the scriptures severally state with regard to pastors deacons etc.

Mukiri wrote:

As we pray to God Almighty to free us from the shackles of 'hate' and judgmentalism, let as be reminded 'Let ye without sin cast the first stone..'

Again...

We are to Judge those inside the church. Those outside are our mission field.. thats why Jesus had no issue with hanging out with tax collectors and 'sinners'.

Consider Paul's letter to the Corinthians.

Quote:

9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world. 11 But now I am writing to you that you must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister[c] but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people.

12 What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? 13 God will judge those outside. “Expel the wicked person from among you.”[d]

So what shackles of hate and Judgementalism are you talking about ?

The scripture that you quote about casting the first stone.

The woman caught 'in the very act of adultery' who was about to be stoned was not Christian.... the only person who could legally stone her was Jesus, yet he used the opportunity to expose the crowd's hypocrisy and the futility of observing the law outside of grace i.e observing the law has no power over sin.

Romans 3:20
Quote:

Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin

This however does not apply to one who claims to be a believer and is an idolater swindler etc... the bible says with such do not even eat.

Finally.

Quote:

Ephesians 5:11

11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

So i ask again, who delights when evil is exposed, God the Devil?
