I want to take a mortgage with housing finance but all I have heard from people are negative reports. Has any Wazuan taken a loan from HF and what was/is your experience? Would you advise me to go ahead take the loan?

I thought hii ni ya huko Investor... Hapa ni siasa na goggles.Avoid it as it is owned by Jubilants.A better alternative would be Victoria Commercial Bank which is Corded.

Admin, kindly help me move the thread. Now,ownership notwithstanding , I would like to know what they can offer me. Either a Jubilant or Coardishian allied company can meet its downfall due to several reasons. From what i have heard, the loans go on and on and you never seem to pay it off.

@everlasting, going by your name, HF loan would be ideal for you. You will pay and pay and pay and after paying you pay. Talk nice to @mawinder and he may offer you some better options. "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

Talk nice to @mawinder and he may offer you some better options. Now that this topic is in the right place,I am not sure of the rates but nothing beats KUSCCO housing loans.Check with them. You may also consider Faulu,Shelter Afrique if you are a developer.

I once saved with them for a year and when went for the loan, after valuation, they said my plot was In a shags place that do not qualify for a loan. I took my cash and never turned back. May be I we unlucky but at least I had saved some good cash thru them. @everlasting, try them and report after one year. Apart from declining the application, the refund was smooth and only deducted like 1k withdrawal charges. "Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of things that matter least." Goethe

They still have 15% (fixed rate) on their Mortgages. Only thing, during application you can be qualified fast enough, but then the cash takes a while before it's transferred to you. "Long Queue or cash flow issues maybe".. All the best. Life is joy, death is peace, but the transition is very difficult.

Talk nice to @mawinder and he may offer you some better options. That only happens to defaulters... and it can happen at any bank/financier. Once you start skipping payments, the interest starts to accumulate and before you know it, you owe more than you borrowed yet you have paid for several years! Donde Act notwithstanding.... Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.
