@Hisah. Is it time to buy NBK? Of the laggards its the one that has profit growth or profit for that matter. However heavy gava shareholding and the recent privatisation news bring uncertainty.
It has reached the point where everyone has lost interest in this counter, No talking about it even.

@Aguy have you considered the convertible prefs that gova holds.... Potentially very dilutive!

Thats the uncertainty with this share. makes it very unattractive

I have been expecting it to tank sub 20 for some time now since the 2013 vol spikes have not turned it bullish. Bollinger bands have constricted warning a looming huge move. RSI is neutral making it hard to judge which side the break will turn to. But being a bank with gok skeletals (preference shares etc) I don't follow it much.

What do you see? Glimmer of hope?

Yeah still crunching numbers...still looking at different scenarios that can pun out though...lets talk Monday Morning.

Constricting bollinger bands forming with bearish RSI. If the break dips to 10 and below I'll buy that panic crash.

I expect the good news to push the price back to 45 for a reload! 60 will come later from that reload. Same script for member.

So next week will see several announcements.

This week and next week result news bites will be make or break for 5000 barrier. Failure here again will be unpleasant for the bulls. A break above 5030 - 5100 range will be significant. If November confirms a top out, then Jan-Feb 2014 rally will be a sucker rally that will trap many bulls.

It is however encouraging to note that the market has upto the moment defied the slow down which is common phenomena year in year out from october to december by always trading health volumes...this tells me the nse will grow steadly for the next 3yrs.

I think as VVS mentioned elsewhere, and specifically HF, all those properties provide for good security so provisions aren't much a headache in a buoyant property mkt like Kenya's.

Now to await those of the commercial banks with un-secured/personal & SME loans.
