He did not look distinct! I think we need to ensure that our kids grow up with a realistic picture of jesus and not what is shown on all those catho ikons and paintings. For years the image of Jesus that was in my mind was this ( i think I saw it in a calender or poster in my GrandPa's house) All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

Christianity in Africa is shallow yet wide... perhaps because we psychologically associate Christ with the goodies granting white faced donors. we then focus on what he can do for us and not what his message is. Believe me when I say this... the message of Christ is lost! we rarely read his words but rather we cherry pick the scriptures to find tasty morsels to feed unwitting followers. this is my message - CAN WE FOCUS ON CHRIST? CAN WE LISTEN TO HIS WORDS AS SPOKEN? therein lies the foundation of our faith. the church at antioch was called the "christian" church for a being like christ. Christ centeredness should be our mantra. Just for fun... when praying how do you visualize God? you are talking to someone right? 100% man ans 100% God... how does he look like in your mind? It will be a bit of a struggle visualizing him as realistically depicted but for me - that is the way forward. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

The bible says he was "morning star" depending on translation. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!
