Going up to 7.5% from 1 Nov. If yours is due for renewal, do so before then and will save some coins.
Lord, thank you!

When you read through this ammendment is very well intentioned.
We have very careless drivers in this country and there doesnt to be enough punitive measures.

IMHO all drivers licences should be reissued in a digital format.
All drivers/licenses should be tied to a particular insurance policy(ies) renewable periodically.
The proposed Bonga point system is actually very good. majuu schemes like this actually work to curb irresponsible drivers by making premiums higher for them

Careless drivers to pay higher premiums.
Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

The change is only affecting new policies. If its a renewal unalipa kama kawaida. There is no change.

Hii apana kweli. Renewals will also be subjected to the new rates come 1st Dec only that the NCD (No Claim Discount) depending on your past year(s) loss ratios will apply. Correct me if am wrong.

@forester

You are wrong, I have just renewed mine at the same rate as last year 3.5%. The new changes took effect from 1st Nov.

Really? is there a link? The last comminique from the regulator indicated 1st Nov for the reintroduction of the 7.5% rule.
