As for KK, bought at ksh 5.80, dumped at ksh 17 and reloaded again at ksh 8.05 - ksh 8.70. @gordon, when was KK at Ksh 5.80? and when did you dump at Ksh 17? @stock.enigma. Sometime in 2009 it went below 4 bob, but i have no recollection of it hitting 17 bob. @gordon. Clarify!

I thought the highest was 16. 3rd qtr rally should propel Kk to 10 establishing support there.

In the NSE every dog has its day, from the looks of things we are few in KK, ppl are so quiet. Im seeing 9.50 smashed by 3.00pm. Aguy,9.50 could have easily been smashed today had not those 4 guys/splits put in a sell of 341,000 shares. Means sellers will increase at 9.50 and spoil the good demand-supply imbalance.Tough resistance at 9.50 Bidders who had put a huge bid at 8.00 have disappeared. If we dont have a volume spike today the price will slowly go back to sub 9.00 “The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; the realist adjusts the sails.”

Got KK at ksh 58 pre split. Have had bad days at the office too, like holding a zillion kq at average ksh 45. Not to mention Lonrho Motors where I have framed the share cert.

@Aguy, You have your wish. Weak demand with 3x supply. Will the next upward momentum be the real thing? I would think so. At 8.30 & below, i add some more.

KK must overcome the 10 - 11 range before things look up. Still a bear counter. $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

I've placed an order at 8.05 to be corrected to 8.00 tomorrow. its always good to buy more for less of a good company Thanks to Jana's VWAP of 8.70 ive adjusted my order to 8.00. Abit risky, but yet again im only topping up so i can take the chance of the sellers coming to me. The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

A large fund exiting the market is responsible for KK's woes. This fund I suspect is just managing its risks in frontier markets. Other than that, I highly suspect KK may just surprise on the upside profitwise in February next year.

mwekez@ji wrote:@murchr, its buy time for KK. Breakdown welcomed @Mweke you know those who bought KQ in Sept when we had this conversation are already 40%+ up. Anyway, am looking at oil stocks and am following this talk and noted the following in the Presidents report Quote:...The capacity of National Oil Corporation should be developed to become a strategic player upstream and downstream in the oil and gas sector, in the manner of PETRONAS Malaysia.
