Its interesting to note after putting this notice Equity Bank went ahead and launched their own simcard and form of mobile banking. Were they trying to stop the competition on its tracks?? Note Other than Orange, DIPEK also has Safaricom on Board and Airtel have never removed them from their website. Partnering with Orange is a huge thing because Orange is owned partially by both the Kenyan and French Governments. Due diligence was done for over a year before DIPEK got the contracts. It is important to do real research and not copy and paste anything you get from the net. Part of research is joining a programme so you can speak with authority from actual experience.

Have you spoken to Safaricom and Orange dealers and found out how much they make a day let alone a month..... You may just find out you are thinking really small about a 150 billion industry and over a trillion dollar mobile money transfer industry.[/quote]
