New phrase ahoy! Knee slappingly good! And Usual Suspects is! And its Keyser Soze! 'And like that,... he gone!' Brilliant!

@Djinn: If you liked Usual Suspects, you may be interested in Memento!

@threadstarter! Movies you may also want to watch: Wanted, Shooter, Jumper, Art of War, 10,000BC, Apocalypto, Posseidon, The Hunting Party, Dawn to Dusk 3, Shrek 1.5, Hot Fuzz, Saw 1-5, Transporter 3 etc. I could go on! All those are exhilarating!

Yes, I am movie buff!

I think most guys here are naming their favourite movies instead of giving options based on the genre you've described - action thrillers. I mean,Gladiator and Braveheart are all great movies but they're epics.

Anyway,you won't go wrong with these action thrillers: Cellular,Lock stock & two smoking barrels,Snatch,(both of those are directed by Guy Richie - the script is out of this world),The Rock,Training Day,The Island,Enemy of the State,Crimson Tide,Behind Enemy Lines,Taking of Pelham 123,Deja Vu,The Edge,Devil's Own,Armageddon,51st State/Formula 51,Air force One,US Marshalls,Kill Bill 2,Bad Boys,The Fugitive,The Negotiator,Con Air,Face Off,Basic,CONfidence,The Sum of All fears,S.W.A.T.,National Treasure,Lakeview Terrace,Inglorious Bastards,Collateral,Ronin,Heat,The Recruit just to name but many.

You won't go wrong on any Don Simpson/Jerry Bruckheimer production, always explosive. Combined with director Michael Bay,that will always be a classic action - e.g The Rock

Pelham was a bit disappointing I was expecting something close to Swordfish...
Underworld trilogy - Brilliant! Lord Of The Rings trilogy - Great!
