I still get this calls from shags of my old folks waiting for the rains so tuma pesa ya kupanda, kutengeneza shamba, kulipa wafanyikazi.. but have never heard of 'tumevuna ya kutosha'. Im thinking of a greenhouse for them as well.



I happen to have seen some places around the big mountain slowly turn in to 'quasi semi-arid areas' that are often so hot it's difficult to believe they're anywhere near the mountain. I think rain-fed agriculture will cease to be a way of life in our lifetimes.

@rankaz, nothing wrong with warm weather. Problem is lack of rain. But the widely held notion by Kenyans that cooler is better is wrong. You get less harvest in cooler places ceteris paribus

True, but this is not warm mblo, this is hot!Sad And of course, this has been accompanied by wanton tree-felling and consequent erratic rains.
