Bring back 'Kamero' he closest we have now are those carrying mixed concrete

Bring back street lights that actually work.. I promise not to make the bulbs target practice for 'Feyas'

Bring back this city council guys ( not kanjo idiots) who would actually sweep the streets with that trolley and real brooms

Kick out all these 14 seaters that rattle ( and most city hoppas as well)

Get CCN employees to have self respect like they used to ( btw.. working for NCC back then was a great thing)

Bring order and respect to the city

I miss that city Bw. Kidero and now that you are one of us... make it be

Cant happen, wont happen! Somebody called Kamau wants standing passengers.

Was majuu Watu husimama kwa train na hizo airport buses
The 14 seaters are a nuisance and so are the personal cars.
There is no harm in standing in a bus in most Nairobi routes if doing so will reduce jam

Please please take back those words!Sad Remember back in the day people used to 'stand' in PSV? Kenyan standing means hanging onto anything on the bus. Window, door, fire escape et al. I remember as a kid squeezing next to the long bus gear on my way to school. I had to keep moving for the driver to change gears! Please, anything but that. A mzungu once told me that that, was a tourist attraction in its own rightSad

The Old Naorobi reminded me of His Worship Mayor Joe Aketch

The guy had a vision of transforming the sprawling Eastland slums of Kaloleni, Bahati Jericho Lumumba Railways quarters etc from this

under private public partnership to this

and this

Kidero call Aketch

A large fraction of new office space expected in Nairobi’s central business district could remain unoccupied in the next couple of years as businesses migrate to the suburbs to avoid heavy congestion estimated to cost millions of shillings every day, a real estate market survey has found.
