Some people like myself are engaged in a manner that we do not fully qualify to be in either classes.

How would you consider people like me?

Do you also know that most self employed persons or business owners are a bit old? Are you prepared for this trade off just to get a master for a hubby?

@SimonKabz
• Finally,Kabz sounds like an ideal man
• For us Kenyan ladies,a real man always criticizes,is a dictator,has right of way,and never appreciates his woman unless it is dating season etc etc
• A man who will always appreciate me however smart I may be,will receive all my respect,I will obey him and love him more.
• It’s only that Simonkabz is already taken
• Otherwise,I had started having ideas.

@ Thimioni,

Huh! yaani you are such a hotcake! Effects of living on Leeward

@Pretty,

I know time is the better teacher here. 2 or 3 years down the line you won't give a damn what i do for a living if i place enough doughnuts on the table.

One would say you have pretty much to learn about life.

Feel the fear but do it anyway.
It's amazing what you can achieve when you get rid of fear.

Life do teach us alot,with time you will understand all this. sometimes we opt to things we never dreamed of.

Most of......men doing very well in business today started with nothing or they were empoloyed at one point.

keep your eyes open.......nice dream ....(goals).....sometimes do come true.

Bother not about yesterday's mistake,try to correct it today and avoid it tomorrow.

fundamentally,any person working for somebody else is deemed a slave...

i.e,somebody accepting another's rule...

here comes the big question,is your ideal man operating in another man's rule..?

if yes,he is also a slave otherwise he doesn't do a thing...!

@ Pretty: You ve got a lot to learn and dont expect to find a ready made businessman. Even Kirubi was once employed at Kenatco,one has to start from somewhere. Yours is a fantasy world.

Life is real and not ideal

When a bird gets tired it can land on anty tree. You are young but you have to be a little more carefull. If you are looking for a 'mr ideal in the name of a businessman,it may take soo long that by the time you realise ''mr real(slave) is nolonger availabe and you may have to settle for a cabbage.

Tke my advise.

what you have said here strongly suggests that you expect a man to define what you are. learn to stand on you own two feet - otherwise you are headed straight to being a doormat!

@pretty,

business here will remain business,for matters simplicity until otherwise

you wish to assume that we care to know the business you are referring to.

otherwise,a cobler,charcoal burner,hawker are indelibly business people,

men and women genuinly earning their daily breads.

but somehow struggling to keep it to idealistic lifestyles.

however,company ceos and senior managers,earning hefty perks,having big

connections for clean deals,are not your choice.

who are they,big business magnates,without laces of vices,are out there,making

clean money.

get them,gud luck

@pretty. Your choice of words throughout this does not encourage mercy on you. You are pretty misled on issues of owning capital and mobility of the capital. For you to live by your rules,you got to own some capital. Unfortunately majority of us,as demonstrated in these SK rants are not born with any. So one's gota hustle in employment for some capital,bemfore bolting.

While most dream of being their own bosses,only a few get the courage and timing to start their own business. And sadly,only a few of these make it.

You must have been born with some capital at your hands,and that may explain your lack of any understanding of the situation the others find themselves in

@ Pretty ...you sound to have really pretty dreams ...jas go gal,get it.....that wat u wish for,don be told about life experiences by SK dudes who are right now slaves in offices. Get yo ideal man .....a businessman,bila hussle.

But got only one clarifiaction here ....wat if the 'businessman' is the wife and the man is neither working nor a businessman,so is available all day long. isn't that wat you would wish for most?

This pretty thing sound like a teenager.....even mama mboga and many others were at one time swimming in illusions just like where you are. Time will teach you the realities of life. Having said that,its wise to have a destination before setting off for a journey.

So assuming you're a pilot and you don't have a billion shillings to buy a plane,would you work for Naikuni or sell charcoal by the roadside?

The world has changed,the customer and not the employer is boss,meaning your job is your business.
