Before we return to Festival rugby (known to all as sevens rugby)

Is there a rugby purist in the house who missed the AB's v Boks test on Saturday. That is the best test I have ever watched in my life (I have never missed an AB, SpringBok or Ausi test since 1995).

If you missed, please make a point of watching the repeats during the week. I can bet SS will be showing it atleast on a daily basis.

That is the best rugby game ever played.

The spectacle of the day was that 747 that flew just above the stadi with the words "go springbooks" written on it...Amazing...

With all due respect the greatest game for has got to be the 2011 final between AB & France to any die hard purist. The first scrum down was at minute 18 whereas the first line out was at minute 22 or thereabouts. It was a flawless game of razor thin margins and no errors.

Last week's test Springboks were to careless with ball and missed too many tackles. Other than the scoring the game was not as demanding to ABs.

Evidently we are missing Chris Brown thoroughly, the one guy I had wished would be hired by NOCK for all teams because he would significantly improve our fortunes across all team sports starting with Harrambee stars, women volleyball, hockey etc. Team sports at global elite level is about conditioning and then the coach. You can have the best coach but minus conditioning you become average. Over the weekend it was very obvious Chris B needs to be recalled. We were getting walloped zero scores largely because of inability to tackle and defend well which has a direct correlation to lack of conditioning. You notice the only serious tackles were put in by players in last year's team, debutants lacked the conditioning and at elite level top teams can pick that from your first game on day 1 long before your get to play them.
