When Gadaffi was being fought, he kept telling the world that it was the al Qaeda who were fighting him. What did the Americans do and say?

Now after Gadaffi is out, the Americans arrest an al Qaeda operative who apparently was living a cosy life.

So the Americans are agreeing with Gadaffi posthumously.

I'd say someone strong enough to build allies. And with aspiration to power.

But I can't help but say, 'the al qaeda'.

Libya will be haunted for a very long time. Ghadaffi wasn't the best but had his options and priorities right. Current leaders aka militia men got it wrong. Islamise by force
