Pole for the family and friends of a promising student. He was just a typical 21yr old with oats to sow. Most of us at age (some even double that age), struggled with beauty of our women. Permanent attension! we call it.

The 'good thing' is that he wias living a life many boys his age only dream about. Lucky boy. At least he died a happy man, having achieved much more mpango-wise than what many men may ever do.

Died happy being stabbed?

It is the Casanova's philandering exploits that matter, not his almost certain tragic end.

@Tokyo and @Washiku what was the purpose of highlighting this story, to discuss the boy? To discuss his family? To discuss the event?
The least you could have done is give a solution, instead of criticising me. Let us hear your solution to this problem.

@Tokyo and @Washiku I must tell you that I have the right to comment in this thread too. And I have the right to say what I feel I want to say.
If you don't want to read my post, please skip it.

The story should be a lesson not discussing the boy

That's true. But some people just know how to oppose. What is wrong is I say people with a lot of apetite should marry and even marry more than one? I said before that a father can even finance his son to get married... What is wrong with that? After all this 22 year old had already fathered a child with another girl, how many children were going to be fathered before he settled with one of them?

Do you mean one should have as many as will exhaust his appetite? Then you're saying the same thing as the boy. And he's dead.

Man must be about control of appetite. An Aristotelian kind of mean that's appropriate for each moment whether or not one has as many wives and concubines as Solomon. Or Akuku danger

No, I meant legally. Marry them. That's why I said I'm proud of what Islam teaches me. I can have upto four, legally and there is reponsibility on my side. It is not just keeping women as mistresses. And there are conditions I must meet.

You are talking of controlling apetite. How do you do that? I already listed many ways of trying to avoid such things happening. I think you didn't read my post. One of them is "fasting".

Hadith says:
We were with the Prophet while we were young and had no wealth whatever. So the prophet said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power."

@AlphDoti
Sorry but in a site where adultery, lusting and other social evils are highly glorified, please do not expect anyone to understand or even take positively any of the points you raised. I sometimes only hope that the comments/views i see on this site do not represent the actual way of thinking for majority of the men in our rotten society. That said, your points are very valid and although I'm not muslim,i think your teachings are very sane and those who follow them(majority of my muslim friends) live a much better life than most of the non muslims i know of. It's sad that we live in a society where sexual sin(adultery in particular) is glorified especially among men
Nevermind what haters say, ignore them til they fade away - Just live your life

At 22 na mileage imeanza kupanda hivyo? At 30 si atakuwa na mileage kubwa kama mitumba cars from Singapore? Is it a reflection of the current youth? Psychologically - what was he looking for in all the older mamacitas? Did the older women take advantage of a need in him for, say, a mother figure? Why penchant for older women - has his mum been there throught his upbringing? Maswali ngumu.
@timuka, that lady anakaa a nurse called Joyce....

It is sad for his family but in my opinion this is not a tragedy. The boy lived life to the fullest. We will all die someday, some old, some young. Tragedy would be to die without having ever lived.

@Intelligentsia, you have never experienced the sweetness of an older woman girlfriend. A young bright boy with raging hormones in his early twenties with a woman at her sexual peak in her thirties is recipe for fireworks. This is the time the woman is most generous and the young man most receptive. Oh!! how I remember those days......... juu ya meza kwa ofisi yake.........

We also have a right to respond when we feel like you are of the mark, don't we? Maybe I should put the question a bit more directly in few words. What did your response really mean? That if he was a Muslim things would have been different? Just make me understand.

I said I'm proud of the code of conduct I'm expected as a Muslim to observe. I said the conduct forbids me of "bad" lifestyles, any kind of things that are potentially harmful or lead to corruption in society.

And I said to young men, who can afford to get married, should marry. And I said this will be a means of restraining the eyes from casting an evil glance and keeping one pure and chaste.

And I gave further recommendations. I'm not forcing anyone to follow them.

So I offerred a solution.

And I said failure to follow them would to things like having unlawful relationships, pornographic material etc.

Where am I off the mark???

You see you are entitled to your opinion too.
You can tell the youth to do what you think will help them avoid this kind of things happening. Like some of those photos you are fond of posting. Some are naked women, teaching them to lust after the naked bodies. Does your Bible teach that?

@Wamapisha... Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

Nude photos? Is this guy serious? I give up. I thought part of the code is truth.

I even wondered why you were trying to make sense of islam? To me its all about greed. The men who came up with it gave themselves permission to 'enjoy' many women. Marry four who can be divorced with just a few words. The women were reduced to mere sex objects by covering them up and subjecting them to fear.

Ever wondered, can a woman marry 4 husbands if she chooses? Can she divorce her husband with those few words? Isn't what is good for the gander also good for the goose?

The muslims in-turn now think because they've subdued their women, they can conquer the world. Its why they are ever fighting and killing Christians. The greedy fanatics after being promised in excess of 4 wives, 40 virgins. Its like women will go to heaven just to sate the sexual needs of men. ABK

Visit an arab country and you'll understand what hypocrisy is all about. Homosexuality, prostitution, alcoholism, mightier-than-thao puffed up self importance, abuse etc

What a tragic end to a young chap brought about by LUST.
The mind of a 22 yr old is like a teen's, yet this one was in diff.relationships with people above his league? that's too much, too much for a 20 plus boy to emotionally handle!
And they call it fun? at what expense? his education, mental state, personal development? see what third leg can cause? short lived heroism.
53 plus years to live, gone without anything positive to remind the world that he ever existed?
I pity the mother so so much.

And if you tell fellows that Sex can kill and no one ever died from lack of it,they look at you funny.
