With the current high chicken feed prices, i need to get new market for 'my' eggs (unfertilized) for me to break-even.

I can sustain 17 trays per day 120 trays per week (Able to scale up to 30trays @day 210per week

Price: give your quotes please

From my understanding,yellow york is not same as Kienyeji eggs.

Yellow york is given some additives to make the eggs yolk yellow while kienyeji is yellow naturally.

As for the cost retail is 400 to 450 per tray while retail ni 20/= per egg.

You can check at City Park market.

Why is there this fad around quail eggs?I am clueless.I can understand the birds as we love any type of meat be it hippo or donkey but eggs for me are the same.enlighten a brother

Quail eggs are reputed to be medicinal. Their 'superpower' in assisting Mr John is not far away from camel milk... so its said. However, those are eggs of quails found in the wild.

Getting a quail, feeding it chicken feed, will not produce anything that packs a punch more than a chicken egg. IMO it just produces a small chicken egg. God forbid that someone would zero-graze a camel and feed it cow-feed.
