...It is sad that we still have people we trust who take advantage of situations for their own benefit;

- a pastor who sleeps with an old woman who has come to seek help...

- A teacher who rapes an innocent girl..

- A university lecturer who trades marks fro sex... the list is endless. All this clearly demonstrates how low the society has come. This Lack of moral conscience is being replicated in all other spheres of life- politics etc

@Samsa; I am not being judgemental. It is good you graduated from that.

There are some lessons to learn from your confessional,don't let these wet blankets who cannot see beyond the purpose ruin your mood.

I say confess anything.

I once hit and killed our dog as i was driving (speeding) out. I just let people ask 'what happened' over and over without saying a thing.

I used to peep at our 'Mboch' (back wen i was in class 2) while she was showering until one day she saw me. I wasnt beaten but she had to bathe me outside the house in the presence of my buddies from school including chicks.

I never pulled that stunt again.

if you stay without confessing,it eats your bone and you grow older. When you confess you feel free and the guilt starts to fade away.

I remember one chap (username evaporates),who immorally cheated on his wife then he was to face the wife the following morning he felt guilt eating him.

The only answer is confession. You start by realising you did wrong,you confess to yourself then you seek forgiveness..

Some people are taking it that they have nothing to confess about and whoever is confessing is a certain derdaheadic lunatic who has lost direction in life.

It doesn't hurt to know more than you have

@samsa,
You must be talking about me. Yes I did that in a thread 'LEND ME YOUR WIFE'. It was however fueled by my wife's nagging. When I faced her after having an affair,I felt so guilty and noone in sk offered help like this one of confessing. I went ahead with the secret affair with that chick. I resorted to alcohol. I started realising very beautiful women around me until I almost slept with my boss! It has been a terrible time.

With what I gather from this post,I think the only solution is confession. I have too many projects I am meant to complete but now I am on my way to destruction. I have forsaken all of them. Yes..true I must confess..I have sinned to myself and to God,then to my wife and children and to the society.

@ kishtash

Confession is great and should lead to repentance..... hope you are headed there ...

When we pray in praise to God,he makes a difference in our lives.
